Welcome to Poker Academy

The Poker Academy is a free online poker school specializing in No Limit Texas Hold'em. It is made up of five main subject areas - basic poker, getting started, position play, strategies, and psychology. The site also contains a poker glossary. We will help you to gradually improve your poker skills through a series of lessons.

After completion of a lesson you are faced with a quiz consisting of three questions. The quiz will indicate whether you have the acquired the expertise required to move on. Luckily, you have the option to take the quiz as many times as you like, so you should not get stuck for too long.

Once you have completed an entire subject area you are obliged to undertake a more extensive test. The tests are significantly harder than the quizzes. For one, you will have a limited time to provide the answers, and in addition, you must score at least 75% correct.

In between the subject areas you will pass through three bonus rounds where you have the opportunity to collect attractive bonuses with our poker partner PokerRoom. However, you will not be able to collect these bonuses unless you study hard and perform well on the tests.
